After the success of ISMS implementation, on February 4th, CMC Japan organized a periodic course on information security for all staff. The course attracted the attention of numerous employees.
On the afternoon of February 4th, the periodic course on information security of CMC Japan was organized at the office of CMCJP, Ocean Gate building, Minatomirai – Yokohama. During 2 hours, the course provided trainees general knowledge on information security at work.

Provided knowledge on information security is necessary not only in daily work but also in interacting with clients. Additionally, the course includes realistic hypothetical situations for trainees to discuss and research. There were roughly 40 staff of CMC Japan joining the course. The trainer was Mr. Nguyen Nguyen Duc, Technical Division Manager.

About the course, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hang (CEO of CMC Japan) shared: “Information security contract is the first one to be signed when starting any cooperation with clients. CMC Japan as well as CMC Global have our own information security policy and regulation for staff and clients. However, how effectively it works depends on the awareness of all employees. Thus our first event to welcome the year of the Rat 2020 is organizing a course on information security for all staff. It is a strong evidence that we put emphasis on information security in our operation and development.”

In the end, all trainees were tested the knowledge gained through the course. It is expected that information security will be implemented across CMC Japan by other courses, technolgy and tools such as LDAP, Nextcloud, etc. Hope that in near future, CMC Japan will get more certificate on information security to support our projects.
